We ship world-wide
# vikings gladly accepts orders from all around the world. Shipping rates are calculated at the checkout stage. For orders outside the European Union, we and our shipping carrier ensure the proper handling of customs formalities and export documentation.
Shipping via DHL and DHL Express, insurance included
We have a variety of couriers available, depending on the type, size and weight of the ordered goods. We usually use DHL and DHL Express to ship our products, these can be a bit more expensive but they provide excellent service. The available shipping options and/or price will be displayed during checkout, depending on the product, weight and dimensions. The shipment price includes insurance fees. We usually provide a tracking link once your order ships.
There is no shipping rate displayed for your destination? Please contact us and we’ll fix that!
Shipping via forwarding agency
If advisable, for example for very heavy or particularly sensitive shipments, we ship via a forwarding agency.
VAT Information
VAT-exclusive and -inclusive pricing
Product detail pages may show the price exclusive and inclusive of VAT.
At the time of placing the order, before entering the checkout process, the VAT-inclusive price and the applicable VAT are estimates. We calculate the final price and VAT rate at checkout. We base the calculation on your deliver-to location, the deliver-from location and whether you have a valid EU VAT registration number. You will also see the final price, including any applicable VAT (which may be zero-rated), in your delivery confirmation and on your invoice. Please note that in some circumstances, you will pay an import fees deposit.
Vikings cannot assess your eligibility to reclaim VAT. If you’re unsure whether you can reclaim VAT, please ask your tax advisor.
Customs information
If you are the recipient of an international delivery, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, if enforced. These are then levied once the delivery reaches your country. While customs policies vary widely from country to country, as a general guideline, you will usually only be charged your local VAT rate by the courier, if applicable.
Customs may open and inspect packages in your presence or in your absence; we have no control over this and this depends on the destination country. However, since we provide good documentation, this should rarely be the case.
Possible Deviations from Country-Specific Standards
For products dispatched internationally, manufacturer warranty may not be valid, manufacturer service options may not be available and product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages. The products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications and labeling requirements. The products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or converter if appropriate). You’re responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from the Vikings Shop, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
